As Follow-Up to the Trenton Vaccination Choice Rally, Parents Meet With NJ Health Commissioner Heather Howard - Meeting Promised By Governor Corzine (pdf)- New Jersey Coalition for Vaccination Choice (NJCVC) via Vaccination News - "Four parents from the New Jersey Coalition for Vaccination Choice (NJCVC) are meeting with the Commissioner of the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services (NJDHSS) Heather Howard and seven senior members of her department this morning at 11:00 a.m. at the DHSS Main Building in Trenton. ... Strong public pressure has been steadily building in support of the parental vaccination choice bill currently in the health committees of the Assembly and Senate: A260/S1071, the Conscientious Exemption to Mandatory Vaccination. Seven hundred people rallied in Trenton on October 16, an event which received national and local TV, print and radio coverage. Over ten thousand people have signed a petition in support of this bill. Parents are especially outraged by one of four new mandated vaccines effective this September, a flu shot for young children ages 6 to 59 months as a requirement for daycare and preschool. New Jersey is the first state in the country to mandate the flu shot. The flu shot has become a lightning rod for the issue of parental vaccination choice nationwide."
DOD and CDC: Studies Suggest a Possible Link Between Multiple Vaccines and Injury -- [W]e learn that a collaborative program between the CDC and the Department of Defense says that multiple vaccines may not be safe for everyone (at least in adults being inoculated for military service). “We have preliminary findings from one of our many on-going research studies that suggest a relationship between adverse events and multiple vaccinations exist. These findings will require validation, but heighten our concern for the current clinical practice of multiple vaccinations.” That rather remarkable statement came from US Army Colonel Renata J. M. Engler, MD, director of the Vaccine Healthcare Centers Network (VHCN) a “collaborative network” of the Defense Department - and the CDC. She went on to say this: “The more drugs one is exposed to, the greater the likelihood of having an adverse event so as vaccine numbers increase, and (sic) we will see more people who have efficacy or safety issues.” And later, this: “The standard of care (ie, when mixing vaccines) is to minimize drug exposures because of the recognition that the more drugs being used, the greater the chance of a reaction and potentially a serious adverse event.” Col. Engler’s candid statements (I’ve never heard anything like them from any other senior vaccine official), were included in a November 26 letter (HERE) to Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY). Maloney had written to inquire (HERE) about a 2007 VHCN presentation suggesting that 1-2 percent of all service members were suffering serious adverse effects from their shots. I first reported on this presentation in August, (HERE) when someone alerted me to a Government Accounting Office report saying that VHCN and CDC officials “estimate that between 1 and 2 percent of immunized individuals may experience severe adverse events, which could result in disability or death. Some of these events may occur coincidentally following immunization, while others may truly be caused by immunization."
A Chinese citizen who has lived in the U.S. for a decade, spending much of that time seeking asylum because of government plans in her homeland to forcibly sterilize her on her return, is being ordered to that fate by a ruling from the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver. The court said it was rejecting the appeal of Xiu Mei Wei [pronounced Shoe May Way] for asylum even though previous court rulings have found a "'person who has a well founded fear that … she will be forced to undergo' an abortion or sterilization 'shall be deemed to have a well founded fear of persecution on account of political opinion.'" Wei, speaking to WND through an interpreter today, said she faces an impossible future: returning to China for a forced sterilization and bringing with her the four children she's borne in the U.S. to a future of no schooling and no jobs. #HYPERLINK ""
Can toothpaste harm your thyroid? -- Triclosan, an antibacterial agent used in toothpastes, soaps and cosmetics, alters thyroid function in male rats, highlighting a potential concern for people - especially pregnant women and children. Effects occurred at doses that people may experience, given the many diverse sources of exposure now prevalent because of triclosan's widespread use.
Fat cells also linked to prion infection. Scientists have added fat cells to the roster of bodily tissues and organs that may harbor infective prions, the renegade misfolded proteins that are believed to cause scrapie in sheep and mad cow disease in cattle.
Nano exposure may damage liver. Exposure to nano engineered products introduced in various consumer products may have the ability to penetrate the skin and damage organs like liver.
