8/8/8 -- Olympiad to 2012 Strange timing of events point to illumined elite by David Flynn

On 8/8/08 this year at the opening ceremonies for the Olympics in Beijing, an all star cast of current and retired world leaders attended. George Bush Jr., Vladimir Putin, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown were there to name a few. The obvious question was, why? What was so important about these Olympic games?
On the same day came news of Russia's invasion into the Republic of Georgia. On 8/8/08, the break-away province of South Ossetia, an area on the northern border of the Republic of Georgia was either attacked by Georgia itself, or Russia, the reports were unclear.
For many there seemed a strange significance to the timing of both events on 8/8/08.
There was.
The date marked one the most important anniversaries in high Illumined societies of modern times.
August 8, 2008 commemorated the founding of the Order of the Knights Templar, officially recognized by the Patriarch of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, 888 years ago.
The Knights Templar are considered the foremost Illumined society of history. Their secrets and power form the basis of most Fraternal societies active in the world today, one of the most notable is the Skull and Bones club whose members include several of our nations presidents, as well our current commander and Chief. The Templars developed the first European banking system and the first European currency. Consequently, they became the richest and most powerful Order of Knights that emerged from the Crusades. Among their greatest "causes" was not only the security of Jerusalem for Christendom but also the search for lost sacred knowledge, the treasures of the Temple of Jerusalem and the Ark of the Covenant. In fitting with the 888 motif, the Sacred Order of the Knights Templar’s had full access to the Temple Mount for 88 years after the capture of Jerusalem by the European crusaders in 1099 AD until its fall to the Muslims in 1187 AD.
But why would so many illumined dignitaries attend the Olympics to celebrate this event. Was it out of convenience that they crashed the biggest party thrown on earth during 8/8/08 instead of celebrating on their
